Just looking for opinions, but please don't be rude! I'm 18 (19 in January) , my boyfriend is 22. We are financially stable and planning on getting married. We talk about having kids a lot. And it's something both of us really want. We were thinking about trying to have one soon. So I'd be 19 when it would happen and he'd be 23. Do you think that age matters here?

Honestly, do whatever feels right. Some couples are ready to have a baby that young while others prefer to stabilize their careers before starting a family. It all depends on your finances, your commitment and how ready you are to only sleep a few hours a night!

Imagine this, once you have kids you're not going to be able to do any of the stuff you like to do, especially if you're financially stable. Kiss financial stability goodbye, kids cost a lot of money. Goodbye parties and hello soccer games. Do you remember when you were a kid and how your parents' whole lives were devoted to you, that's what its gonna be like.

It's pretty lucky you're financially stable and happy, but do you really want to give that up, if I were you, for your own sanity and happiness, I'd wait and experience a few things first... Without a screaming toddler in your arms.

Not really, cause you both are adults. But you should really wait till your both married then you can have a child with him. And plus it's your second year as an adult. I think you should wait till your in your mid 20's.

Yes.

The human brain doesn't finish developing until you're in your mid 20's. Until then, you're not ready to even consider having a child.

I feel if there is enough love to go around and you are financially stable then why not?? =) Good luck!

Get married first. If there's a reason to not marry now, that is the reason to not have a baby now.

I'm 19 and pregnant so I think it's ok but 16 or younger I believe is wrong 17 is pushing it also .... So 19 and pregnant is perfectly ok

As long as you can financially support a child.....kind of young, though.

Biologically speaking, no. Females are capable of having babies before puberty.
