I know its a really sick question, and i don't think about doing it- don't worry! I just want to know, because people say that the child that is born comes out really deformed and has problems. Is this true? No stupid answers.
Thanks x

It is true, but not as common as people make it out to be, most of the time nothing happens and the child is completely normal. Everyone gets their DNA from their parents, their parents each contribute their chromosomes and the child receives a mixture of the two sets, this decides everything physically about us. Sometimes one of the parents will pass on a flawed chromosome, if the other parent has a completely different set of chromosomes usually the healthy chromosome will overpower the flawed one and the child will not have that disorder, but if the other parent shares that same flawed chromosome or their chromosome is overpowered by the flawed chromosome, and thats when a child is born with a genetic deformity or disorder. If the parents of a child are siblings, they received the same set of chromosomes, so if one of them has a flawed chromosome, its likely that the other one will have it as well, so their child will most likely inherit that disorder or deformity. Thing is that the majority of people do not carry a chromosome for a horrible disorder or deformity, so their children would be completely normal, and when they do it is usually something not as extreme as most imagine. For example there was a lot of inbreeding in the Russian royal family, cousins marrying cousins, so the blood disorder hemophilia was very common in the family. Its incredibly rare that the child is born like what they show in the movies, with missing toes and three arms and a deformed face and all of that stuff, usually its something much more subtle. Its also illegal though so by law, the child would be taken away.

depends on how healthy the child turns out, there are some problems with inbreeding, but the main thing is who ever has a child from a relative,is to make sure that the child is looked after well.and one day understands how he /she was concieved but at a suit able age.
the health risks tend to be deaf and blind as muslim child sometimes turn out.

Yes, it is.
A brother and sister both have the recessive gene, so their child would have an extremely high chance of being deformed/retarded.
So, children who are a product of incest are normally deformed or retarded.

Since both children come from two different parents, they are going to be similar. The baby would have the sane genotype of the parents.(bro and sis) but some mutagens would come into place. Making the phenotype of the child(physical appearance) deformed or other mental and physical diabilities.

no that is not true, however generations of inbreeding can lead to deformities
