What does it mean when he jokes about getting me pregnant?

I've been seeing this guy for about two months now and he keeps asking me if I'm ready to have a baby.then saying that he's just kidding and not to freak out. The thing is his ex is pregnant by him and he's getting a vasectomy soon soon. And his mother keeps telling him he needs to get me pregnant first. He knows that I really want a baby and that makes it kinda sting each time he does it. I don't think he realizes this though because he cares about me enough to not want to hurt me. Opinions?

You are dating the wrong guy. He has no business dating you when his ex is prego. I suggest you move on. Watch him at a distance. What how much he fights her to get our of paying for child support. If he gets you pregnant he will do the same. Find a better sperm donor.
