Yes. Brown eyes are dominant, so the green is a recessive gene. Two blue eyed parents cannot have a brown eyed child.

yes i just learned about this @ school. if the two parents have the gene for green eyes somewhere in there family itz possible.

they might be carriers for the gene. that meens thay have the gene for green eyes but brown overpowers it. they have a 25-50% chanced. glad i could help.

yes, if both parents are heterozygous (remember genetics?) then there's a 25% chance of having a light-eyed kid. Do the grandparents have light eyes?

Well, both my parents have brown eyes and I have blue eyes. So, sure, it's a possibility. I was also born on their 6th year wedding anniversary, oddly enough.

yes, as long as someone in either of the families past had green eyes.

yes, i did. my fathers eyes are green and my father-in-laws eyes are green but my partners eyes are brown and mine are hazel. our first son has beautiful green eyes and our second son has gorgeous big, brown eyes. as long as there is someone else in the family with green eyes, it can definately happen.
